I don’t think I’ve told you about my Bunco group.
This summer a friend of mine invited me to be a part of a Bunco group she and another friend were starting. I agreed because I love making new friends and I’m so glad I did!
I love this group!!!
I love it for it’s diversity. We’re kind of a random group…we didn’t all know each other before we started playing Bunco together. Walking into my friend’s house to play the first month was so much fun…everyone was asking who knew who…who got invited by who…it was just a big ole guessing game.
I had no idea how to play Bunco when we started. Thankfully, it was an easy game to play.
Each month someone different hosts the Bunco game in their home.
I’m hosting this month’s Bunco game at my house tonight.
And I’ve been stressing a bit (okay, a lot) all week about getting everything cleaned and looking “just right” for my friends to come over.
I can be so critical of my home and really, that makes me sad.
My home is a blessing to be enjoyed and shared with friends!
So, I’m changing my attitude and I’m looking forward to the fellowship and good time I’m going to have with my friends tonight.
I can’t wait to open up my home and have it filled with good food, conversations, and laughter.
It’s been a while since I’ve written about my One Little Word for the year…DARE.
Tonight is my daring.
Deciding to allow my friends into my imperfect life and imperfect home is being vulnerable and, yes, daring.
It is brave.
And I’m daring to be brave tonight.
What daring thing have you tackled recently?

I’m with you. Always totally stressed out about company. Don’t quite know how to get over it!
