I wanted to thank all of you for your comments this week.
I love interacting with all of you!
I was talking to a friend of mine last night over coffee and we were discussing how we miss the community of blogging. Blogs all over are experiencing a decline in comments and interaction.
For many of us, the community that blogging creates is exactly why we fell in love with blogging and it’s why we continue blogging and sharing our life stories.
This video was shared at Blissdom last weekend and I really loved it!
I often feel like the blogger in this video…anxiously waiting for a comment after pouring my heart out in a post.
I thought you would enjoy this too…and since I’ve been swamped with sick children this week I thought it would be fun to share today!

Cute! I admit I am guilty of reading lots of blogs and rarely commenting. I do tend to comment on yours more than others though 🙂

I am guilty of that myself…it’s so easy to just read and then go to the next thing. I’m going to try to do better at commenting.
I do always appreciate your comments…I feel like I know you and consider you a friend! 🙂

I agree. I’ve seen many blogging changes since I started. I’ve also noticed link-ups that have become impersonal too. I still blog because I have the desire to write and to share. And yes, I can relate to logging in hoping for a comment too 🙂

Comments on my blog ebb and flow. Sometimes the posts I think will get more comments just don’t. I think I am like so many bloggers who not only have a desire to share their heart and encourage others, but follow so many other blogs. It’s hard to keep up with the commenting. But I do my best and hopefully that is enough. And I LOVE visiting your space!

Ha ha, that video was hilarious (thanks for sharing) and definitely touched on that desire we bloggers have to connect with our readers through comments. I definitely perk up when I see a new comment on my blog, and it’s my joy to respond to each and every one (in fact, I might even be a little OCD about it). I also do my best to comment on the blogs I follow because I personally know how much it means to receive specific and thoughtful feedback…something beyond “I love it!” Though sometimes, I recognize all we have time for is “I love it!” if anything. Ah, I’m rambling. Bottom line, thanks for sharing, and I hope this comment brought you a smile!

Your comment did bring a smile to my face tonight, Lauren! 🙂
