I am running several weeks “behind” on documenting our daily life this year.
As we’re drawing near the end of our school year, I am having a little more time, so I’m confident that I’ll catch up to our current week before we leave to visit family this summer.
That’s my goal right now.
I was able to work on my layout for week 13 yesterday afternoon.
Left Side
Right Side
Side by Side view
For this spread I used Project Grids by Amy Martin and Giddy by Amy Wolff. For journaling I used Heather Joyce’s The Short Caps font. It’s one of my favorites!!
The two big events of this week were the girls going to their friends birthday party at Western Playland and our day flying kites at the park.
As you can see, the left side is more embellished than the right.
I loved our photos from our day at the park so much that I really wanted them to shine.
I made my own Polaroid type frame for the picture of my two girls together on the left side. This is so easy to do! I’m planning a tutorial to show you how to easily make a frame like this for your photos.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to get another spread done today. I’m lacking in pictures for my next week, so it will have lots of journaling cards and embellishments for fillers. I’m looking forward to “playing” with it to make it fun.
What do you do for weeks where you’re lacking photos?
