I am so thankful for the friends that God has brought into my life.
Each location we’ve lived and each season of life has brought special friendships that I cherish so much.
I often wish that I could hold on to the friends that come into my life. The hardest part of moving is always saying goodbye to the friends in my life.
I find myself mourning and dreading those goodbye prematurely and I have to remind myself to just cherish the friendship I have in the moment. It’s a forced practice of living in the now that I’m thankful for, too.
For this layout, I used a photo I took recently with my friend and across the street neighbor.
I was heartbroken at the beginning of this summer after my friends from last year moved away and, honestly, I didn’t want to open myself up to new friendships.
But…I eventually did and for that I am glad.
Ashley and I have become great friends over the last several months.
The word strips here, “so very thankful that you’re in my life” is applicable to Ashley and also to every friend that I have ever had.
Some I have maintained communication and friendships with despite distances and some I have lost touch with, but I am so thankful for each and every one.
And I’m thankful for each of you who come here to read these words that I write and see the photos and/or layouts that I share. I consider you friends as well and I am so thankful that you’re in my life!
