You guys…I am within TWO WEEKS of being current on my Project Life layouts!!!
I am so excited about this…I feel as if I have been “behind” on this project all year long. It will be so refreshing to catch up and only have to scrap current weeks. And I love knowing that I will be able to finish 2016 caught up on my album.
Here are my Project Life layouts for weeks 38-40 of this year…
Week 38
Left Side
I have a few “around the house” photos here along with a photo of Keith in Korea. The “sick day” photo in the bottom right corner was actually taken and edited (with text) on my camera. I use the Letter Glow app for putting text on my phone photos.
Keith took the photo of the lock screen on his iPad. It was taken just before he left for Korea and I think he enjoys seeing that photo of the kids. We’re hoping to take another in the same spot when he returns home.
Right Side
This side of the spread is documenting two events…our trip to take photos at the sunflower field nearby and our Sunday School cookout.
I am so thankful for our neighbors who accompanied us to the sunflower field. My camera was having a bad day and wasn’t behaving properly, but my neighbor was able to get some great photos of the kids and I. But because of my camera’s attitude, I was able to get the sunburst photo of the sunflowers that you see in the top left corner. It’s a favorite of mine!
We had a “donut on a string” eating contest at our Sunday School cookout that was quite humorous! I’m trying really hard to relax a bit and let the kids see me let loose and have fun, so I joined in the contest with the other ladies in my class. It was so fun!!!

Week 39
Left Side
There are lots of homeschool photos here. The bottom photos are of the kids doing a science experiement. We’ve been learning about electricity and they’ve really enjoyed our science experiments on Thursdays!
Right Side
Most of these photos were taken on our field trip to a local Apple Orchard, Cider Hill. We had a great time picking apples, even though the apples were quite pathetic looking. The apple Jenny is holding in the bottom left photo was the smallest apple I’ve ever seen!
I also have a photo of Keith in this field of flowers in the town he lives in. Apparently it’s a thing to take a selfie here and Keith joined in on the fun! He wrote about it more on his blog.

Week 40
Left Side
I don’t have a Sunday selfie photo for this week since Will was sick and we stayed home. I was completely dressed and ready myself before I discovered that he was sick…poor kid!
I love that my husband takes selfies! And I love that I get a look into his world through them. It helps me to feel a little more connected.
Right Side
Keith went to the zoo in Seoul, South Korea and really enjoyed his time there!
On the same weekend the kids and I visited the pumpkin patch in nearby Weston with friends.
I made my own journal card using a solid white paper and a doodle of a pumpkin from the Thirty-one kit by Amer LaBau and Sara Gleason. This is one of my favorite Halloween/fall kits in my stash!

Thank you so much for joining me for another week of sharing these Project Life layouts! I don’t think I will ever tire of this project and how easy it is to document our everyday moments and memories using it!
