One of my favorite things about digital scrapbooking is how economical it is.
Digital scrapbooking kits are priced really well and can often be found at great sale prices and lots of pieces can even be found for free.
You can buy one page kit and really get a lot of mileage out of it through recoloring and reusing.
Recently, I’ve been branching out a bit with my scrapbooking and I’ve found two great subscription bargains that I just have to pass on!
DigiShopTalk is a wonderful community for digital scrapbookers. Each month they feature a different digital designer. I found out about this site through one of my favorite designers, Connie Prince, who is featured this month. I’m really looking forward to finding new favorite designers and learning new styles.
DigiShopTalk offers two types of paid memberships. A Gold Membership costs $25 for a year and with it you receive a full sized kit from each of their featured designers (one per month for the year). The Diamond Membership costs $100, but is a lifetime membership with access to the previous year’s featured designers kits as well as all future kits.
For new as well as seasoned digital scrapbookers, DigiShopTalk also has a monthly digital scrapbooking magazine with lots of tips and tricks. This months magazine features the basics for any of you who have considered giving this type of scrapbooking a try!
The next bargain is one that I’m really excited about right now. It’s so awesome that I’m not sure I’ll come close to doing it justice in my description of it.
TheDailyDigi is a digital scrapbooking site that is just too good to be true! The amount of information and “stuff” that is offered here is incredible.
The Daily Digi features The Digi Files which is a monthly collection of products by their contributors. The Digi Files can be purchased for only $5 a month or you can purchase a monthly subscription to the DigiGame which includes the Digi Files, a monthly loaded “playbook” and every four months you receive access to an exclusive collaboration kit by previous contributors for $7.50 only a month.
Both of these are really great deals!!! And, I wasn’t asked to advertise for them at all, I’m just really excited about both of these new {to me} finds!
Yesterday I participated in a challenge by The Daily Digi to scrap a layout with seven “ingredients” from this month’s “Celebrating a Year of Memories” kit, each from a different designer.
This was a real challenge for me because I almost always stick with the same kit/designer when I’m creating a layout. I also did this without the use of a template, which I have been relying heavily on lately.
Here’s the layout I made for the challenge…

Have you ever tried digital scrapbooking or are you more of a traditional paper scrapbooker?

Traditional scrapbooking only. I find it very therapeutic but it takes me too long. I can’t keep up. I am curious about digital but don’t know if can make the leap.

Good afternoon!
Recently discovering your blog, I forward this email message to see if you would be interested in reviewing faith-based, family friendly movies/DVDs on your blog. I have a number of film studio partners who periodically provide me with DVDs to review, and I would like to include you on my blogger review list if you are interested.
Eager to hear from you,
