Happy Friday friends!!!
It has been an almost forever since I’ve blogged, but one of my summer goals is to get back into the rhythm of posting (more) regularly. Five on Friday is a great place to start and get you all updated on what’s been going on around here!

Birthday season is in full swing in our household! We celebrated Will’s birthday last week and Jenny’s this week. We have a break in the family holidays for a few weeks and then we’ll celebrate Keith’s birthday. It’s a full, busy season, but it is so good to celebrate the people I love the most.

Keith and I celebrated our 18th anniversary last weekend. EIGHTEEN, y’all!! I am more and more thankful for him everyday. I could not have asked for a better husband. He loves me way more than I deserve and he is one of my life’s greatest blessings!

Our community pool opened last weekend and we are enjoying it so much already this summer! We have grand plans to visit the pool everyday that we possibly can. It’s almost directly behind our house and just the easiest summer activity!

This week I read The Weight of Him and finished the audio book of Yellow Crocus. Both were excellent reads that I highly recommend!! The Weight of Him was a very *weighty* book and dealt with some serious issues. I devoured it so quickly and wanted more! Yellow Crocus was also a deeply moving book as it told the story of two women with an unbreakable bond during slavery days in the south.

EA and MC are volunteering at the library across from our house during the summer. They have been involved in a book club there all year and formed a relationship with some of the librarians. They are loving going over to volunteer and they are really working hard, too!
I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend!!
