Once upon a time I started a blog series titled “Goals and Grace” and then promptly forgot about it. This was a place for me to list my goals for the week, including our menu plan, to be tackled with lots of grace.
Today, I’m resurrecting that series.
Some of my goals for the week include:
- Daily Bible Reading (1 & 2 Timothy and Titus from She Reads Truth)
- Finish reading Educated by Tara Westover
- Continue scrapbooking daily with the #100dayproject
- Post to The Lilypad Blog
- Go on an evening walk with the Keith and the kids at least 5 times
- Track points on Weight Watchers app daily
- Steam mop floors
- Clip Cupcake’s nails
- Complete monthly project for Paislee Press Creative Team
- Complete at least one layout for TLP new releases
- Date night with Keith to the movies
- Daily sit-ups
We have a super simple menu planned for this week. Our family is going a no-spend month, so we’re not eating out. I have found that keeping the menu simple helps to cut costs and save money as well.
Our weekends have been spent grilling since the weather has been so nice!
Here’s our menu plan for this week…
Sunday – Grilled Burgers
Monday – Chicken Burrito Bowls
Tuesday – Fish Tacos; Tortilla Chips
Wednesday – Fried Rice; Egg Rolls
Thursday – Sweet Chili Pineapple Chicken in the Crock Pot
Friday – Chicken Tenders & Fries
