One of my favorite types of scrapbooking challenges to take on are “paper to digi” challenges.
Basically, you pick out a paper layout from a paper gallery and use it as inspiration to create a digital layout.
Yesterday I participated in the Paper to Digi challenge at The Lilypad and I was introduced to a new to me paper scrapper, Adrienne Alvis. Her paper layout gallery over at Sudio Calico is absolutely amazing! Seriously, if you like looking at pretty things, go check it out…I promise you’ll come away inspired!!
I chose this layout of hers to scraplift…
I used it as inspiration to create a layout about my own “happily ever after”.

As a little girl, I don’t remember being very princess-y.
I didn’t daydream of marrying my own prince and having a happily ever after ending to my life.
No, I was a bit too realistic for that.
But, I have been so incredibly blessed by my husband!
He is my prince charming.
He is my dream I never had come true.
He is my best friend.
And he is THE best Daddy I could ever dream of for my children.
Being RIGHT HERE (wherever right here might be in this crazy move-every-other-year-or-more Army life) with him is my very own happily ever after.
Did you dream of having your own happily ever after when you were a little girl?
If you’re married, I challenge you to see your life right now with your husband as being the happily ever after that you did (or didn’t) dream of and count your blessings within your marriage.
