Last week started out a bit rough.
We I had a couple of bad days and I felt like giving up.
But I didn’t…I was determined to turn things around.
I began purposefully counting my blessings. They were all around me all along. I just needed to chose to see them.
It is amazing how quickly a week/day/moment can turn around when we choose to dwell on the blessings.
When we choose to bless and praise instead of curse and mourn our days are so much brighter and quickly fill with peace and joy!
This week I am counting…
551. early morning spent in prayer
552. new days fresh with His grace, mercy and forgiveness
553. a loving husband who always steps up when I am struggling
554. Jenny saying, “Mama” so often now…her sweet voice blesses my heart
555. Will writing the letter “b”
556. sweet, loving spirits in my little girls who try to hard to please
557. being a Creative Team member at Charlize Creations for March
558. appreciation expressed
559. playing Sorry with the big kids while Jenny naps
560. Spring-like weather
561. cousins playing together
562. little one discovering bubbles for the first time
563. new words spoken
564. my little Will being so nice and polite while we eat lunch
565. Jenny donning an apron as she joins me in the kitchen
566. Sunday brunch together
567. new Spring wedges
568. big bowl of popcorn shared with my husband
569. tears wiped away
570. warm air blowing on my cold feet

Life is so humbling. It seems that when we start to complain, something lovely and simple causes us to rejoice in God’s blessings. It is so hard to be a homeschooling mom, trying to accomplish so much in such a short time. But with plenty of prayer throughout the day, and thanking God continuously for his blessings, I find I can manage somehow. Thanks for sharing your lovely post.
