Well, friends, Christmas has come and gone and I pray that you had a wonderful celebration of our Savior’s coming to earth as a baby.
With the craziness of trying my best to make this a special time for the kids I took an unintentional week long break from writing here. So, I thought I would drop in today with a few life updates from us. There is lots of excitement on the horizon and 2017 has so much to look forward to!
I’ll begin with our biggest and most exciting news…my husband received his next assignment and we’ll be moving home to South Carolina when he returns from South Korea this summer!
Oh, y’all, this one piece is news is totally giving me life and so much hope right now! If I could load us all up and move right now, I totally would, but it wouldn’t be the best decision, so I’m choosing to focus my energy over the next several months into preparing for our move.
But first…
My attention in January will be on completing the Month of Challenges at The Lilypad. This will be my FIFTH year participating in this month long scrapaganza! If you’re a fellow digital scrapbooker, you should really consider participating as well! It’s the best way to kick off a new year with being challenged in your creativity!
In other scrapbooking news…
I’m so excited to be joining the Paislee Press creative team for a second year! I love creating for Liz and was thrilled to be offered a position on her team again!!
The rest of this week is going to be spent catching up on Project Life. It’s my goal to start the new year with a completed 2016 Project Life album. This means that I may not finish my December Daily album. I’m okay with that….I’m actually just thrilled to have completed fourteen days of it. It’s much farther than I’ve ever gotten with a December Daily album. It’s a project that even if I don’t complete, I will attempt again next year.
I’m also going to be working through some plans and goals for the new year. I’m using Laura Casey’s Power Sheets goal planner and I’m so happy to be working through real goals and looking forward to where the new year will take us.
I have also chosen a “One Little Word” for 2017. I’m taking Ali Edward’s One Little Word class to work through being intentional with this word and really getting as much as I can out of it. I’m planning to share more about this on Wednesday.
One of my biggest goals for the new year is to be more consistent in writing and sharing here. I’m working through an editorial calendar that will make doing that doable and enjoyable for me and, hopefully, for you, too!
