As of tonight we are without our mini-van. My husband dropped it off this afternoon to be cleaned tomorrow. It has the first appointment of the day and I’m fairly confident that it will take them all day to get it clean.
And then he will pick it up Thursday morning and take it be be shipped to the United States.
One of the requirements for shipping is that it cannot have more than a 1/4 of a tank of gas in the engine.
Too bad we forgot about that detail when we filled up the van with gas last weekend before we knew exactly when it would be shipped.
So, in an effort to burn up some gas, I invited my friend Jordan to go on one last trip with us to Trier, our favorite city in Germany. I was a little sad that Keith couldn’t go to since we have enjoyed it together so much, but was happy to go and spend the day with Jordan. It was actually Keith’s idea and it was a great one!
After lunch as we were walking through the street market, MC spotted an area where her daddy has taken her picture on previous trips to this old city.
She immediately suggested that we take pictures there.
So I did.
Four year old smile, McDonald’s cup, Antsy Little Two-Year-Old Brother and All!

don’t feel bad…we were in the process of car shopping and I am adamant about when you fill a gas tank you fill it all the way. So we finally found a new-to-us car and traded in our WHICH WAS FULL OF GAS! hahahaha
