Will has been soooooo close to crawling for soooooo long now. I have just been waiting and waiting to tell the world that he’s doing it!! Everyday he gets closer and closer. For the last few weeks I’ve predicted that he would be crawling by the end of that week….but, alas, he wasn’t. I finally decided to stop making predictions.
Although, he’s still not full crawling with belly off the ground, he’s close enough at this point. He’s really scooting everywhere. When his beautiful blue eyes lock in on something he wants there is no stopping him from making his way over to whatever that may be. It’s usually something that he really shouldn’t have.
Today he ventured out into the kitchen area all by himself. He was chasing after a toy that kept getting away from him.
(oops he got distracted!)
(it’s almost within his reach)
(YES, he has it!!)
(and then it rolls again)

Just for the record, my son never did crawl as most would define it. He did much of what it sounds like your little guy is doing. Scooting on his belly.
With my son it actually looked like those armed forces maneuvers where they have to crawl under something very low to the ground. We called his crawl the “army crawl”.
It appears your little one is getting where he wants to go without much difficulty! 🙂

GO, Will! He looks so happy, even if that pesky toy kept moving away. 🙂

How old is he? My daughter is 6 weeks old… some days I can’t wait for her to start crawling, and other days I’d be happy if she stayed 6 weeks forever!
Thanks for stopping by my site- my husband was sitting next to me when I first visited here, and he mentioned that he actually went to CHOBC with your husband! Were you at the spouses seminar at the end? If you were, I’m sure we met! (I was the one who was getting married that weekend!)
I look forward to keeping up with you through your blog!
