MC has a distinct love for glasses.
When she was two years old, she destroyed about three pair of her Daddy’s glasses playing around with them.
I pray that this love continues because there is a strong likelihood that she will need them as she gets older.
She does take care of her glasses a little better these days, though.
A little.
She has a pair of pink glasses that I bought her last year. The arms come of quite often, but I’m still able to pop them back on with relative ease.
As she was sitting on her bed talking to me she says, “Mommy I can wear my glasses outside. And then the sun won’t get into my eyes.”
That would be true…..
that is if the lenses were still in them.

Thats so cute. Be glad it was just sunglasses. When The Girl was two she broke the husband’s “I can’t see with out these” glasses I was at school and he had been up all night with a toothache. He had to walk to the dentist and Eye doctor.

That’s adorable. Are the lenses out b/c she doesn’t like the darness? Wish my guys would wear sunglasses. They put them on for about 15 seconds and then they’re on the floor. Of course, with virtually no nose bridge, the sunglasses don’t fit them all that well. They fit better upside down.
BTW – Did I ever tell you that your MC is the spitting image of my sister, Loree, when she was a child. Every time I see a pic of MC, I hearken back to my childhood and my sister. Warm fuzzies.
