Happy Monday friends!
Boy, am I ever ready for a new week! Last week fell apart when I got sick with a bad cold that took me out for a couple days. That means that our homeschool week fell apart and I felt like I bombed out on most of my goals for the week.
But the thing that I love about Mondays is that new start that it brings!
Here’s our meal plan for this upcoming week…
Sunday – Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes; chips; fruit
Monday – Meatloaf; corn; Mashed potatoes
Tuesday – Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti; Garlic Bread; Salad
Wednesday – leftovers
Thursday – Pork Chops; Baked Beans; Corn muffins
Friday – Taco Soup

– go to bed on time
– meet daily Fitbit step goal
– field trip to apple orchard
Read
– She Reads Truth daily devotional
– Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue
– To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Learn
– Lens of Joy photography class (Ali Edwards)
– Brush Lettering class (Amy Tangerine)
Be
Fun…while in the middle of a donut eating competition at our Sunday school party on Friday night I realized it has been a really long time since I’ve let myself have fun, so I’m purposing to do that more this week.
And for a little Monday motivation, I made an 8×10 printable reminding myself that I have permission to have fun! I’m making this available to you, too. I think it’s a permission slip and a reminder that we all need.
