Yesterday during lunch MC told me that she knows what she wants to be when she grows up.
She wants to be a Mommy.
I could not be prouder that my little girl sees something within the example that I am setting to make her want to be a Mommy when she grows up.
Then she added that she needed a husband to be a mommy and she asked me who her husband would be.
I told her that I didn’t know. That was something we would have to pray about.
And then I pretty much forgot this short conversation.
That is, until we were saying our prayers before bed last night.
MC’s prayer went something like this….
Dear Jesus,
I love you and I care about you. I love you so much.
And God, please give me a good husband so I can be a Mommy.
Amen.
I do pray for my girls to find wonderful men of God to marry some day.
And it is something that I would like for them to commit to prayer for themselves.
But I didn’t expect them to begin at the age of FIVE!

What a blessing to hear your children pray for their husbands! 😀 I pray that God will give wisdom and discernment in a husband and to allow God to choose their husband. 😀
