A good measure of how much I am truly enjoying life is how many pictures I am taking. At the beginning of last week I was unmotivated and dragging…not enjoying life.
Thus Sunday through Tuesday of last week I had absolutely no pictures taken.
None.
We were on Spring Break from homeschool and I didn’t take a single picture. Sad, but very telling.
After a weekend away at Blissdom taking pictures and realizing what I treasure I have at home (I greatly missed my husband and children) I am a life-enjoying, picture taking lady!
Yesterday Will was sick and still we pressed on and had a great day of school. I spent the day going back and forth from teaching my girls, playing with Jenny, and comforting Will. And I loved every minute of it. Okay, maybe I didn’t love seeing my little boy throwing up, but I loved that I was there for him, rubbing his back and soothing however I could.
I am so thankful that my husband is so very supportive in everything I do. He makes sure he takes pictures of the kids when I’m away so I don’t miss the everyday moments of their lives. He is so good about making sure I have pictures each week for Project Life.
They had lots of time outside playing outside in our wonderful El Paso weather while I was inside a hotel all weekend.
I am so thankful that Keith captured these moments with them, from the wind blowing their hair to Jenny blowing kisses into the air.
For me, Project Life is about capturing and thus remembering to enjoy every single moment of my life.
It helps me to see the beauty of every day.

Hi Monica, I’m Jenny! 🙂 Your pictures are so nice and bright! I hear you on being home and unmotivated. A weekend away does a mom good! I SO need one. 🙂 Visiting from The Mom Creative.

That’s one of my favorite hotels here! Looks like a fun conference. Your husband got some amazing photos of the kids. Mine tries to get artistic with the camera, but I love that he tries.

Looks like a really fun week, for everyone! Lovely colors, they pick up some nice highlights from the photographs.
