Life got busy this week and I am enormously behind on everything! I’m working on catching up, though, so no complaints here.
I was able to get two layouts completed this week.
Having Fun
This one was for Charlize Creations, who I CT for. She released a cute spring-y kit at OScraps and Pickleberry Pop. It was a lot of fun to work with this kit! I love the white background papers that she included.
This picture is of Jenny playing on the playground at her sisters’ birthday party last weekend.
You’ll notice that both of the layouts I’m sharing today are focused on Jenny. I used to worry about making sure that I scrapped each of my kids equally, but I’ve learned to let go of that a bit. I don’t want to completely ignore any one (or two or three) of my children in my documenting, but I think overall, it will even out. I scrap whatever I’m inspired by in the moment…and let the rest go.

Chatty
Jenny is definitely the chattiest child I have. We’re a pretty introverted family except for her. She is an extrovert through and through and some days I want to pull my hair out because she doesn’t. stop. talking. EVER! But I love her chattiness…I love her enthusiasm for life and that she shares that with me (and anyone else who will listen). She makes me laugh on the hardest of days and I’ve come to find joy in my little chatty girl.
I have come to look forward to the first weekend of each month because it’s when The Lilypad releases their BYOC products. I absolutely love the color palette this month and had to talk myself down from buying everything new product that was released! It is all so, so gorgeous!!
For this page I used One of Each 2 by Amy Martin, Stated Elements & Papers by Sara Gleason, Sunshine Papers by Sabrina Dupre, and Sprinkles v. 21 by Valorie Wibbins.
I did something pretty awesome yesterday. I’ve been scrapping with Photoshop Elements since I started digital scrapbooking in 2006. I have dreamed and dreamed of upgrading to the full version of Photoshop one day. Well, yesterday was that day! Adobe is running a great deal on Photoshop Creative Cloud and Lightroom 5. You can get both for just $10 a month. I talked it over with my husband and he encouraged me to go for it and I did!!! I spent last night learning the program and finding my way around and this was my very first layout using Photoshop CC…I’m so excited to learn more and grow my skills!
Did you get to scrap anything this week? I would love to see your creations…leave a link in the comments (to your gallery posting or blog post) and I’ll leave you some comment love!
