Keith has recently started eating Raisin Bran for breakfast when he has cereal. Elizabeth Anne is a definite Daddy’s girl, and wants to do everything he does, but I was somewhat skeptical when she asked for Raisin Bran for breakfast herself.
At first I had a hard time understanding what she wanted to eat for breakfast when she was asking for “Sun Cereal”. Then I realized she wanted Raisin Bran because it has a huge picture of the sun on the front of the box. I really didn’t think she would actually like it, (I don’t so why would she, right?) and I really didn’t want to waste any because cereal is so expensive. I tried to distract her by offering some Fruit Loops or Cheerios, but she is the most persistent little girl ever. I still wasn’t convinced that she was actually going to eat it, so I fixed her just a tiny bit in her small cereal bowl.
Well, GUESS WHAT??!! To my utter amazement, she devoured it all and has been eating “Sun cereal” for breakfast with her daddy for a whole week now. I would have never thought that my two year old would actually enjoy eating such a healthy cereal.

I guess it goes to show you what an influence parents really have on their children. Enjoy it while you can before she becomes a teenager! LOL

Yummy! It’s wonderful that she likes ‘healthy’ (at least in this case ;))

Mine surprised me by demanding some of the “bird food” that I bought to make a crispy chicken recipe. They ate 90% of the box of Corn Flakes in less than a week! And wanted me to buy more! Maybe I should try Raisin Bran, too.
I was thrilled to see that EA eats it like regular cereal though. Mine insist on dry cereal and eat it with their fingers. Guess they don’t have a good role model as neither of us eats cereal at all.
