On Saturday we went for a family hike and picnic in the mountains near our home.
As I looked out upon His creation, at the expanse of the land before me, I was struck with how small I really am.
That’s one lesson I have learned living here in the wide open spaces of the desert land.
I am so small amidst this big wide world that my bigger God created.
I am so small and insignificant, yet He still chooses to love me.
He gave His life for mine.
He took my sins upon Himself and offered a gift so precious.
He looks at me in all my smallness and loves, forgives, blesses, reconciles more than I can imagine.
I don’t understand it, but I find such hope and peace in knowing the He desires to use small me to impact His great big world.

We’re thinking along the same lines today:) It’s good to recognize our smallness isn’t it?

Thanks for your encouraging words, Cheri. So true. It only takes a moment looking at God’s beautiful creation to realize how blessed we are and how amazing it is that He uses us and chooses us if we invite Him in. Beautiful.
