Yesterday Carrie from Obeying Heart asked some questions about digital scrapbooking. I planned to answer her through the comments or a personal e-mail but decided to answer them in this post since they’re questions that I have received before.
Her specific question about beginning digital scrapbooking was:
Where is a good place to start for newbies?
Since digital scrapbooking is, well, digital, there are a ton of resources online. You can find an overwhelming amount of tutorials and classes online to get you started.
I’ll share some of my favorites with you…
Jessica Sprague offers excellent online classes for digital crafters in digital scrapbooking, photo editing, photography, design and organization. I would suggest that you take her FREE 15-minute quick start class to help decide if this is something that you want to pursue before paying for a beginner class.
The tutorials page at The Daily Digi is packed full of information for new digi scrapbookers. Just click on a link in their sidebar and get started!
Scrap Girls and Digital Scrapbooking Place are the two sites where I started in my own digital scrapbooking journey. Both sites are an excellent resource for beginners and offer lots of classes and tutorials.
I hope these three suggestions help anyone looking to begin digital scrapbooking.
If you have any other questions, please ask away.
