In playing around with Lightroom 5 this weekend, I have fallen in love with photos from years and years ago.
As I imported my photos into the program, I began playing around with edits and just had to get some scrapped right away.
This layout came from one of those edits…
Timeless
This photo of my husband and EA was taken in the backyard of our first Army home at Fort Campbell, KY.
It is such a precious moment captured.
Here is the original photo:
And the black and white photo after editing in Lightroom 5:
I just adore the look on EA’s face as she’s being held by her daddy and the look in his face as well.
He returned from his deployment to Iraq only weeks before this photo was taken and we were all learning how to be a family.
I remember this day spent outside with our twin girls well.
In fact, you’ll probably be seeing more pictures scrapped from this day. I have another edit I’m working on with Keith and MC.
Their relationship, this period of time for our family, the look on the face of father and daughter here…they’re all timeless!
