So…this week has been a rather strange one in terms of El Paso weather.
Earlier this week we were enjoying bright, sun-shiny days.
I sent the kiddos outside on Tuesday to enjoy the beautiful weather. I knew it was going to get colder and I wanted them to enjoy some vitamin D and feel the bright sun shining on their little faces before the cold returned.
They spent lots of time playing outside in our backyard and giving big group hugs for the camera.
And…then yesterday they went outside to throw snow balls at each other and attempt to build snowmen.
The snowmen didn’t happen, but there were lots of snowballs flying around!
I’m not a huge fan of the snow, but I never fail to get excited when I see it falling, especially when it comes unexpectedly like it did this week.
It’s all melted now, but the memories of a snow day in El Paso will live on.
