Happy Friday, friends!!
//one// Countertop Ice Maker
This countertop ice maker has been my best quarantine purchase. Our garage freezer died last week and we could not find another one. Surprise…everyone has bought freezers and everything we found online was out of stock!
We do have an extra refrigerator with a freezer in the basement that we can use, but our icemaker also doesn’t work in our freezer upstairs and we’ve been using that freezer to stock up on ice. So, we decided to purchase this countertop icemaker to free up space in the basement freezer. Problem solved!!
It is working like a charm so far and I love it!
//two// End of School Testing
Our homeschool year officially ended last Friday…yay!! Will and Jenny did have to take standardized testing on Monday and Tuesday this week. It was their first time taking a standardized test and I was super proud of them.
Standardized testing is a homeschool requirement in Virginia and we planned to do it through our homeschool co-op until that was canceled because of the quarantine. I was thankful for the option to test online at home.
//three// Scrapbook Albums
I got a ton of scrapbook layouts printed and into albums this week!! I love having these organized and out so that we can look through them. I wrote a blog post on The Lilypad blog describing how I store my scrapbook albums.
//four// Daily Duo Planner
I ordered a new planning from Erin Condren that I am so excited to start using in July!! It’s her new Daily Duo planner. I think I am going to love using a daily planner. It is the perfect solution for how I want to plan my days. This planner comes in two six-month planners, one from July-December and another from January-June.
//five// Red Head by the Side of the Road
I started a new book last night that I ordered and picked up from my local bookstore, Old Town Books. Red Head by the Side of the Road is the first new book I’m reading from Anne Bogel’s Summer Reading Guide.
I hope you have a great weekend and a Happy Memorial Day!
