I love to catch my little ones in the act of doing something they *think* they’re not supposed to be doing.
I don’t always love that they’re doing those things, but often these are just “cute” little things that I wouldn’t get terribly upset about anyway.
Last week as Jenny was finishing up her bowl of cereal she turned to me and pretty much told me to go away.
“Go, mommy, go.”
I knew she had to be up to something.
So I went and returned with my camera ready to catch her in the middle of whatever sneaky thing she was doing.
And there she was…drinking her milk out of the cereal bowl!
How fun is that??
I remember drinking out of the bowl as a kid.
I didn’t do it every time I enjoyed a bowl of cereal but a good bowl of cereal is best enjoyed by drinking the last bit of milk straight out of the bowl.
I find it humorous that she intrinsically knew this was something she shouldn’t be doing.
But, yet, she was determined to do it anyway…she just solved her problem by shooing me out of the room.
