This is going to have to be a quickie. I planned to get this out earlier, but it has been a busy day. I was finally able to walk during nap time today, but as luck would have it, both girls were awake soon afterwards. Don’t they know that this is MY TIME??
Anyway, our meals were great last week. As I mentioned earlier the roast turned out great! Everything else was pretty basic.
I’m trying out two new recipes for this week from a Gooseberry Patch cookbook that my sister-in-law gave me for my birthday coming up at the end of August.
I think we’re going to start having “Breakfast for Dinner” on Saturday nights. We did it for the first time this week and it was fun for a change.
Monday – leftovers
Tuesday/Wednesday – Potato Stroganoff
Thursday – Chicken at the Rhinelander
Friday – Pizza
Saturday – Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast
Sunday – Salisbury Steak
I’ll post pictures and a review of the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast after Saturday. I’m really looking forward to that one as french toast is my absolute favorite breakfast food!
Are you trying any new recipes this week? If you would like to take a look at what other moms are feeding their families this week, check out Menu Plan Monday at Organizing Junkie.

Gooseberry Patch is one of my FAVORITES! Mine are in storage, and will be one of the first things to come out when we move back (only another year).

Wow! You are so organized! I’m green :). It all looks yummy!
I wish that I had been as organized when DH was on a remote. I often cut up veggies/fruits and had pasta—voila-dinner. Those were the days when I could get away with it 🙂
