You guys…this has been a hard week! Nothing major, just lots of little frustrations, discouragements, and just an overall sense of being overwhelmed. And all the while I am watching and hearing accounts of the devastation in my home state of South Carolina and I am reminded of all that I have to be thankful for.
Gratitude has to be intentional if it’s going to be found at all.
Even on the bad days or weeks, I have to be intentional about finding the blessings in my day, I have to seek them out and write them down. I have to name them and count them, writing them down in my notebook so that I know within my heart that even though the days may be hard, God is gracious and His blessings are never ending.
Here are the blessings that I am intentionally counting this week…
