The days leading up to Christmas are filled with baking in my home.
We have a family Christmas Eve party that is filled with goodies that the kids and I have baked together.
I started yesterday with making Divinity Fudge with Jenny.
I’m never quite sure how it’s going to turn out, but this year’s batch held up well and I’m pleased with our Divinity.
More importantly, my husband is pleased with our Divinity fudge, which is the closest I come to making candy. It’s a family recipe and I really want to perfect.
This morning all the kids joined me in the kitchen for making cut out sugar cookies.
I only had two Christmas cookie cutters…a Christmas tree and a snowman. Looks like I may need to add more to my collection before next year.
We also made a batch of Chex Mix Puppy Chow.
Still on our baking list is pecan chewies (my grandmother’s recipe), red velvet crinkle cookies, M&M pretzel candy, and Santa’s favorite chocolate chip cookies.
What have you been baking this Christmas?

mmm sugar cookies! I love making sugar cookies but they aren’t as much fun when its just me doing them.
This year’s baking includes:
peanut butter bombs
M&M cookies
Snickerdoodles
Lunch Lady bars
and fudge!
