The two weeks of this year that I scrapped for my Project Life last night presented the biggest problem I’ve had to solve since embarking on Project Life three years ago.
I didn’t have enough pictures in a week to fill up a two page spread! Week 29 of this year, basically the second week of July, was a hard week for our family. We were in a big funk and didn’t take many pictures at all as a result. Many of the problems we were facing were resolved by the end of Week 30, which also had a decreased amount of photos taken.
I decided to solve this problem by dedicating just one side of a two page spread for each of these weeks and I love how it turned out! I’m excited to share these pages with you today!!
Week 29
Even though this was an emotionally charged and super hard week, there were still everyday moments to celebrate. This is why I love doing Project Life scrapbooking! It reminds me that there are small moments within everyday and even within hard times that are worth cherishing, celebrating, and documenting.
Week 30
Our biggest event of this week was welcoming our niece, Sydney, to Kansas City. She came from South Carolina to visit us for two weeks. We anticipated her arrival all week and the kids made welcome posters to greet her at the airport.

I also switched up some of the templates I used for these two weeks to better fit the photos I had.
Looking through my Lightroom collection of photos, I noticed another two weeks coming up that have a smaller than normal amount of pictures and I think I’ll handle those in the same fashion as I did these weeks.
I love this solution for weeks with a smaller amount of photos!
And I love being reminded that there are always small everyday moments worth celebrating!
