This layout was done for the October Random Challenge at The Lilypad. It was a Telephone Game challenge where scrappers lifted layouts one after the other. The game was started with one layout and it was sent to a scrapper, who then lifted it and then it was sent to another scrapper.
I’ve done this challenge before and it is always so fun to see how the layouts change from one to another. To see the progression of the layouts, see this thread at The Lilypad.
This is the layout I was sent to scraplift by dotcomkari:
I have fallen in love with Forever Joy designs, who is a relatively new *to me* digital designer and I had just purchased her kit, Sunflowers, before receiving my layout to scraplift. I knew that I wanted to use this kit, so I went in search of a photo.
As soon as I saw this photo of EA taken in April of 2012, I knew it was what I wanted to use.
I decided to edit it quite a bit to give it a sepia tone to coordinate with the feel of this kit.
Aaah, so much better, huh?
I love this photo so much with her sweet little face and those missing top teeth!
I added a white stoke around the photo to give it a matted or framed look and did lots of paper layering before finishing up this layout with elements and “pretties”.
The font I used here is a pretty new one for me and I’m really loving it for personal journaling on my pages.

Your layouts are always stunning and this one with the sepia-toned photo is beautiful. Love all the clusters and definitely am ordering the Karla Dudley font.
