Yesterday was not the best day ever.
In fact, it was a pretty rotten one.
I’ve been sick with a cold along with every one of my children.
I’m tired.
and very, very blah
There’s not much about it that I enjoyed.
It was pretty much a One Little Word FAIL.
But you know what’s great about this journey that I’m taking?
That we’re all taking, really.
I don’t have to give up and call it quits at the first sign of failure.
God’s mercies are new every single morning.
Because of that, today is a new day filled with new opportunities.
Each day of our lives contains the potential to shine, to embrace and enjoy life.
I’m going to take the opportunity that I’m given.
I’m going to reflect and reevaluate.
I’m going to confess, repent, and pray.
And I’m going to keep going.

I pray your day is better today.
You are so right, God’s mercies are new every morning – I think I say that 3 or 4 times each week, because life is so far from perfect.

Your day sounds like mine. I spent most of last night nursing sick kids and we are spending today collapsing on the couch. But tomorrow is a new day. I just hope I can sleep tonight. 🙂

It’s so encouraging that we can start all over. Every time I’m in the Word, I feel completely refreshed and renewed! All is grace!

Hugs Monica! We all just have those days where we want to give up but the important thing is we don’t!
