This past week has been one of returning to routines and striving to make them better as we’ve made some small changes.
As I’m learning to be aware of being thankful for all things, I am learning that it takes practice and intentionality.
I have to have my journal near to mark down those things that I am thankful for throughout my day.
Or they are forgotten.
And I don’t want to forget.
I want to remember all the ways I am blessed.

8. a full night’s sleep
9. the hearing and acceptance of prayer
10. a babysitter home from college
11. Will’s first “favorite friend” at Cubbies
12. post chapel
13. friends at Weight Watchers
14. a clean yard…free of leaves
15. warm coats for the cold winter

Quite a few of those things are the things that we moms do feel thankful for in the moment, but forget about amongst the hustle of the day. I love that you shared them. It will remind me to make a note of those kind of things as well. You and your blog really are such a blessing to have.
