I actually made everything that was on the menu for last week! That hasn’t happened in a LONG time and it makes me very happy! Why? Because I’m just like that…I LOVE it when a plan actually comes through!
Mindy and her family came over last night and helped us eat the spaghetti casserole. I decided to make it with whole wheat spaghetti noodles instead of the regular kind and I don’t think I’ll do that again. It may be healthier but I really just didn’t like it.
I was also finally able to make the sausage, potatoes and peppers dish and it was very good, as I expected it to be. Will definitely gave his thumbs up!

I wish my kids ate like yours do. I’d love to try some of the things on your menu, but I am 99% sure they would refuse. And I am just notready to do the “eat what’s on the table ro go hungry thing.”

I try the week long menu planning, and it never fails, for one reason or another I won’t follow through and actually cook all the meals! I’m going to attempt to do it again. I’ll let you know how it goes!!

I love a quick and easy menu. This one is kid friendly which is great too. My kids would love the sloppy joe!

Any time I see a menu plan, I get inspired. Maybe it’s because I never do them. LOL! I should, though…

sounds like a fabulous menu. I haven’t done menu plan monday in quite some time. I just don’t have the time to plan for anything anymore. Congrats on the plan going through last week.

I am always impressed that you make REAL meals for you and the kids. I know it might be different if my husband was gone for a long duration, but whenever it is just the kids and I, I tend to fall back on chicken nuggets or mac n cheese. Keep up the good work!
