Today is Will’s third birthday and I can hardly believe it!
Time has gone by so quickly over the last three years.
And this little boy….well, he has stolen his Mommy’s heart.
He is so sweet and adorable and can be a terror one minute and a complete love the next.
I am so blessed that God has seen fit to entrust me with this precious soul.
We have a relaxed day planned for Mr. Will.
We were planning that this would be his first day to attend big church with us, but unfortunately, he woke up congested and not feeling well. So, he’s at home with me today.
We’ll have presents and cake later and probably a movie night with the family.
His sisters have been doting on him all morning long.
I’ll have more to tell you about the day tomorrow.
For now, I wanted to wish my little one a happy third birthday and take a walk through the last three years with will with all of you.
Just one year ago today, we were celebrating his second birthday AND welcoming his daddy home from Iraq.
So much has happened over the last year!
In addition to Will experiencing “terrible two’s†with full gusto, we have moved back to the United States from Germany and we’re very close to anticipating the birth of Will’s baby sister, Jenny.
I would have never imagined that this is where we would be last year when we were in that gymnasium welcoming my husband home from war and celebrating Will’s 2nd birthday!
And the year before that??
We were one month into Keith’s deployment when we celebrated Will’s first birthday. The day was spent opening presents with my friend, Mindy, and her little ones and then sharing birthday cake with our FRG group at our post’s food court.
Will was still crawling around, but on the verge of walking.
He was such a cute, adorable one year old!
And so happy!!
And Will’s birth was just the year before that.
After his sisters were born so premature, I dreamed of experiencing a healthy pregnancy and birth.
And that’s just what I got….Will was born just five days before his due date weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs. 3 oz.
He was a little stressed right after birth, but it didn’t take long for him to settle down and for me to hold my little big bundle of joy!
He was a complete cuddle bug as a baby.
He absolutely loved nursing and being held close.
And I cherished having such a healthy baby to nurse and hold in my arms!

Hi Monica. I love these melancholy walks down memory lane. We miss the past yet are so happy and excited for the future.
Thank you for visiting my the adventure of motherhood blog too.
I wanted to invited you my new blog as well called Mommy’s Piggy TALES.
I’m encouraging moms to post once a week for 15 weeks stories of THEIR youth. I think this will make precious keepsakes for your children. They will be shocked someday to realize you grew up without email or cellphones or internet:)
If you can’t commit to 15 weeks. I will also have a linky for the now and then gals that want to participate. God Bless!
