I had a picture for every single day last week…yay!!
This hasn’t happened in a few weeks.
Last week was just a pretty normal week for us…nothing too exciting happened. But it was enjoyable as I’ve been focusing on being more focused on the kids. I took time out to play with them more and was so blessed for it.
Sunday – Keith bought some Super Man pajamas for Will and he has dubbed himself “Super Will”. After watching some Super Friends cartoons, Super Will was on a mission to save his sister, Elizabeth Anne, from sinking.
Monday – Jenny adores her Daddy! Her face lights up when he walks into the door from work in the evenings. She loves crawling all over him.
Tuesday – The girls acted out math stories with teddy bear counters. This is one of their favorite math activities in homeschool.
Wednesday – Jenny spent her morning following Super Will around the house. She was right on his heels everywhere he went. She loves it when he crawls around on the floor at her level.
Thursday – All three of my “big kids” are busy coloring pictures I printed for them from online. This is one of my favorite quiet afternoon activities for them to do.
Friday – Little Miss Jenny can hardly ever be found wearing socks on both of her feet. She always pulls one off to play with and then promptly looses it.
Saturday – Will wanted to play “Cowboy and horse” so he donned his cowboy hat and Mary Catherine obliged by letting him ride on her back. I even got in on the action and let him ride on mine and it wore this old mommy out!
None of these pictures are of anything particularly special.
I treasure them all because they truly capture some very ordinary moments in our home. And that does make them extra-special to me.
