This was such a fun week of just being a mom. We didn’t do anything terribly special, but it was a full week of just enjoying my life.
I just love those kinds of weeks!
Sunday – We had make your own pizzas for dinner, per Mary Catherine’s request.
Monday – I made matching his and her birthday cards…I love the way these turned out!
Tuesday – The girls’ began swimming lessons again. They were so excited! This is also the first picture I took with my new ipod touch.
Wednesday – It was awards night at Cubbies. Will was blushing when they called his name to get his award. Bless him!
Thursday – We’ve been reading the original Dr. Dolittle book in homeschool. On Thursday afternoon, the girls came downstairs like this laughing. They said they were pretending to be a pushmi-pullyu. If you’re not familiar with the story, it’s a very rare two headed animal with horns.
Friday – I took the kids for much needed haircuts! I just love the salon where they have their hair cut. They chairs they sit in are actually power wheels cars and they have portable DVD players at each station for them to watch while their hair is being cut.
Saturday – I spent Saturday afternoon cutting out Fancy Nancy paper doll clothes with EA and MC while Jenny crawled around the dining room floor. I loved that time with my girls!
And here’s my scrapbook page of Week Four…

I pray your week was just as full of fun and enjoyment of the everyday moments!
