Since I was busy getting ready for vacation during last week’s Project Life, I’m posting two weeks of pictures this week.
Let’s start with week 30, July 25-31
Sunday – I gave Will a magic eraser and enlisted his help in cleaning the walls in his room that he colored in Harold and the Purple Crayon style.
Monday – Jenny spent the morning climbing on a file box to get to my desk in order to throw all of my papers on the floor. Finally, I wised up and moved the file box!
Tuesday – The girls love library day! They’re always so excited to come home and read their books.
Wednesday – I was greeted first thing Wednesday morning with, “Mommy, look! I look just like the Barbie on this book!” I have to admit that the really did.
Thursday – And then on Thursday, Mary Catherine dressed up as a fairy Barbie.
Friday – I moved the girls’ play kitchen downstairs so Jenny would be able to play with it.
Saturday – One of Jenny’s favorite activities is bathtime!
Week 31 included our vacation to Philadelphia. Keith and I had a wonderful time getting away and spending time together. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without his parents coming up to watch our children. I am so appreciative!
Sunday – Jenny’s loves to climb under my desk and get in the middle of things, including the computer wires.
Monday – She has really had a blast playing with her “new” kitchen. It does help to keep her occupied downstairs.
Tuesday – The children adore their grandparents’ dogs. It was a real treat for the to be able to play with them all week!
Wednesday – Keith and I ate at Cosi at University Center on our first night in Philly!
Thursday – On Thursday we walked to the Philadelphia Art Museum. I was thrilled that their showing of Rembrandt and the Face of Jesus just opened and we were able to spend the day going through the museum. Of course, I running up the “Rocky” steps was on my bucket list for our vacation and I did it!!!
Friday – We walked pretty much all day on Friday. During our walk back to University Center from Independence Hall, we stopped to take our picture in front of the famous Love sculpture.
Saturday – We spent the day in the park on Saturday. It was such a relaxing day doing lots of reading and people watching.
