When I began blogging in 2007, I had no idea of the connections that would be made.
I had no idea that my life would become relevant to other lives.
I had no idea that my story would be relevant to other stories.
Through writing and sharing life, my life and our stories have connected, have found relevancy with lives and stories that I would never know of.
This morning I received an e-mail from a reader that I consider to be a friend.
I would imagine that her life looks much different than my own.
She lives in India and writes of how she isn’t able to do as much with her children.
She longs to, but the opportunities that I have with my own children aren’t there.
She wants to, but she often has to leave them with her servant maid while she and her husband go out to work.
She writes of how she is one of few Christians.
She writes of her own father and many family members who don’t know Christ.
She writes of being a missionary among them.
Our lives may look very different on the outside, but through writing my story, I have found a connection and relevance with hers.
We are both mothers, loving our children and seeking to do the best for them.
We are both children of God, seeking to share his love with those around us.
Have you found relevance and connection through blogging?
Share your story in the comments.

What amazing power there is in blogging. It humbles me to see relationships that are built online, that we can help, comfort and learn from one another from opposite sides of the planet.
How wonderful that you have connected.

I came over from the Blog Bash 2011. I enjoyed getting to know you on your About Me page! I agree with you, the fact that we have the opportunity to impact others through blogging is something that I never considered. But what a blessing to be used by God!

I am constantly amazed at how people respond to me, and how much I find that my life is connected the same with others! I am blessed and in awe of how God can bring us all together to encourage.
