Last week I wrote about how we must choose joy.
In all of life circumstances, joy must be our response.
As I look at this week’s list, I am reminded that it is in the remembering of our blessings that we are able to choose joy.
In the remembering, the counting, and the recounting we are able to stop, to look up to Christ, to give him our trust, our hope, our very lives and choose to live in joy in the midst of our circumstances.
This week I am counting…
332. tickets purchased for Blissdom
333. returning library books on time and checking out new ones
334. Jenny entertaining herself with paper cups
335. 6 yr. old daughter surprising me by making my bed
336. crock pot meals on busy days
337. weekend away from home
338. compliments given on my children’s behavior
339. a hotel party with new toys and pizza
340. my two boys eating wings together
341. EA greeting the “red hat ladies” in the morning with a cheerful “good morning”
342. baby blowing kisses….”muah!”
343. planets hanging from the ceiling in my hallway

This is so true. When things are hard, it is being intentional that allows us to realize our blessings and we can find joy. Lovely first visit. 🙂
