Keith has to go out every morning for PT (physical training). This usually includes running, which means that he comes in sweaty, or “wet” as MC calls it.
MC is and always has been totally disgusted by all things “wet”. Including her Daddy when he comes in from PT. She doesn’t want him to kiss her, hug her, hold her, or even touch her.
This morning we hit a new level in her disgust.
Keith came in from PT and she says, “Daddy, I don’t want to touch me. Please.”
Of course he attempted to give her lots of hugs and kisses that were met with much protest.
Then he made it all better by giving her an approved “dry kiss”.
I kid you not…she came up with this term all own her own. She only likes “dry kisses”.
Anyway, after everything was settled from that encounter, Keith sat down to have breakfast with us before going to take a shower.
MC looks at me half-way though breakfast and says, “Mommy, I smell something”.
Daddy says, “What do you smell?”
And MC replies with a slight pause and then she turns to her Daddy and says, “YOU!” with the most horrified, disgusted look on her face I’ve ever seen.

That is so funny and I can appreciated her dislike of the wet. I have a dislike of the slimy to the point of really hating soap.

Hahahahahahaha! She’s hilarious! I have a very smelly brother and can totally relate to her experience!

too funny! The girls don’t like it when Vince doesn’t put on a shirt after he gets out of the shower – “Daddy, why are you naked?” I can’t say that I’m fond of sweaty much either.
