I’ve had three conversations with the girls recently that I just don’t want to forget. They are filled with the curiosity, wit, and charm of precious four-year olds.

MC climbed into my bed in the middle of the night (Saturday night). I remember her getting in but she wasn’t there when I woke up on Sunday morning.
Mommy: MC, why did you get out of my bed last night?
MC: I went to my bed.
Mommy: Why did you go to your bed?
MC: Because Mommy, you take up all the room. I wanted covers on me too!! Mommy, you need to learn to share!

While we were eating lunch yesterday EA began telling me she was tired and wanted to take a nap during quiet time. She often says this, but it never actually happens.
EA: Mommy, I’m tired.
Mommy: Yes, I know you are.
EA: Are you tired?
Mommy: Yes, I’m tired, too.
EA: My Daddy is tired too.
Mommy: Yes, I’m sure your Daddy is tired.
EA: My Daddy needs to go to bed because he is tired of being in Iraq!

Today as we were leaving to go to the commissary for groceries, the girls notice a bug in the car. They called it a bee, but it was actually the size of a gnat.
MC: There’s a bee in our car!
Mommy: Where, I don’t see one.
MC: At the top….there’s a bee up there in the top of our car.
Mommy: Oh, that’s not a bee.
MC: Mommy, we need to get a new car because there is a bee in this one.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we got a new car every time there was something wrong with the old one? LOL.
