One of the exciting things I have looked forward to about living in Germany is the chance to see snow. I love snow. I think there is something magical about it, but growing up in South Carolina, I just didn’t see it a whole lot. Even though I’ve looked forward to seeing more snow this year, I don’t think I ever thought I would see it in November.
The girls and I were finishing breakfast this morning when I happened to look out of the window to see white flakes falling from the sky. At first I thought it was just some small flurries mixed in with rain. I quickly showed the girls the snow and they ran to get their stools so they could watch out the window.
As it continued snowing, the flakes got bigger and bigger and continued steadily falling! It snowed for over an hour straight, but didn’t stick because the ground wasn’t cold enough. I was so excited when Keith called to tell him that we were getting snow. I hope seeing snow doesn’t become mundane and taken for granted by me as I become more accustomed to it.
GOD’S CREATION IS SO BEAUTIFUL!

I’m with you! I LOOOOVVVE snow and really don’t think I could ever get sick of it. (remind me of this…IF I happen to have a harsh winter) What I love the most is watching my girls be so enamored with it. It’s precious.
But I have to say, I’m a bit jealous. I want snow too!!! 😀
