I’m not a fan of being busy, of running around and of being out everyday of the week.
I knew going into last week that it would be one of those kinds of weeks.
So, before the week started, I decided that I would stop to count my blessings throughout the week. I set expectations for myself and I determined to praise, thank and count instead of moan, groan, and complain.
And you know what???
I survived the week with thankfulness in my heart!
I wasn’t as tired and run down as I would have been at the end of the week without deciding to cherish and be thankful for the moments of business.
Things are slowing down this week and I am thankful for the peaceful moments of quietness that I will find in it as I am rejoicing that I was able to find those moments in the rushed and busy week that I just survived.
This Week I’m Counting…
221. phone calls from my husband…just checking in
222. Elizabeth Anne helping me cook dinner
223. watching “girl movies”
224. open mouthed baby kisses
225. my baby playing with a baby
226. seeing my girls surrounded by friends
227. dance costumes…pure cuteness
228. a free afternoon
229. reading scavenger hunts
230. labeling her sister with the word “great”
231. sweet smiles of my baby rocking in her own chair
232. a fresh, new haircut
233. flowers bought by their Daddy, given by their brother
234. a tent set up in his “Buzz room”
235. big brother and baby sister playing side by side
236. baby giggles

Your girls in their dance costumes? So adorable! When did they grow up?

Miss you.
