I love that this weekend included Christmas Day!
Unfortunately, we purposefully did not take a lot of pictures on Christmas morning. Sometimes, it’s best to just enjoy the moment without stopping to capture it. I truly believe that! But, I ended up with only two pictures on my big camera of our day. Somehow, I think I can strike a better balance on that one next year.
The kids woke up full of excitement on Christmas morning! We had a beautiful day together, enjoying breakfast and gifts both received and given.
Saturday was spent enjoying our new toys and relaxing together. I actually did a ton of reading, which is the best kind of day for me.
On Sunday morning we accidentally slept in and rushed around getting ready for church. We ended up getting ready in record time and were early to church!
Here’s our weekend through the lens of the camera…

Ready for church to start…
Sunday afternoons are perfect for crafting.
We received a little more than a dusting of snow overnight with lots of ice mixed in, so we’re having a nice snow day…I’ll share our snow pictures later this week.
