Each week I share my weekend photos with you in The Weekend Lens.
Our weekend was filled with moving preparations and enjoying life together.
With only being about three weeks out from our entire house being packed up for our move, I’m in full-on get ready for that mode! The weekend started with cleaning and organizing the kids rooms on Saturday.
I really should have done before & after pictures of the clean-up, but alas, I didn’t!
My husband did get photos of spending the day with Will and Jenny. He helped out so much by taking those two to the park!
Keith also took my car to be washed and vacuumed. That was such an awesome treat!!!
EA and MC stayed home with me and did most of the cleaning up and organizing of their own room on Friday. They did a great job, too! They have learned (from experience) that it’s better to clean it themselves than to have me do it. When I clean, I throw out a LOT.
I took the two of them to Menchie’s for frozen yogurt as a reward for working so hard on their room.
Saturday was filled with normal Saturday stuff. Saturday is my grocery day most weeks and I try to make it bearable…enjoyable even, by stopping by Starbucks for a treat and listening to my favorite podcasts while I shop.
On Saturday evening we had a pizza & Smash Brothers party with the kids. I ordered a new pizza from Little Caesars, Pepperoni and Green Chili, which was a big hit!
Yesterday we all went to church together. That is always such a gift for me…we so often attend separately since my husband serves at the chapel on post that I never take for granted the gift of being in church worshiping together.
We went to Weinersnitzel for lunch after church for chili dogs, corn dogs and hot fudge sundaes!
Last night Will lost his second front tooth while eating dinner and watching AFV.
He accidentally swallowed the tooth while eating his sandwich and was pretty distraught over it. But, thankfully, we were watching AFV and he was back to laughing before too long!
How was your weekend?

We had a quiet family weekend. We finished the school year off and now are ready for summer fun!! Where are you all off to? I pray the move goes as good as it can as you start your next adventure.

We’re headed to Ft. Leavenworth, which is outside of Kansas City. Thank you so much for your prayers!!! <3

My daughter swallowed her first tooth. It was quite dramatic until she was reassured the tooth fairy would come anyway. Good luck with your move!

He was a bit confused about what the tooth fairy would do, too!
Thank you!!!
