EA and MC have become quite possessive of two letters of the alphabet.
The letters that begin their first names have become very near and dear to their hearts.
EA refers to the letter “E” as “my E”.
MC refers to the letter “M” as “my M”.
Yesterday EA stepped on the scales and got a very pleasant surprise.
We have digital scales and you have to step on them in the correct way, or you will get an error message in the form of a capital “E”.
After stepping on the bathroom scales, EA called to me very excitedly, “Mommy, look!!! It’s my E!! It’s my E!!!”
Unfortunately, I’m never quite that excited when I step on the scales myself.

How cute! My girls also are very possessive of “their” letters. Must be a twin thing! It’s been hard as we work on handwriting that each believes they own the “A” or the “O”.

LoL that was a good laugh! I heard a joke once that a really large woman got on the scales and it said, “one at a time please.” So every time I get on the scales I joke that it said that when the girls ask, “Mommy! How much did YOU weigh?!” Ahhhh a bit too much 🙂
