I feel like I need to apologize for the number of photos I’m sharing today.
But then again, no, I’m not going to apologize…because I LOVE these photos.
These photos in a way represent what I’m all about here at DailyDwelling! It’s my desire to inspire you to focus on the good in your day, the blessings that God has handed down to you in the midst of your everyday. I pray that as I share my life, my story, with you that you will be inspired and encouraged to dwell on what is right, good, lovely, excellent and worthy of praise in your own life and your own story.
These are simply photos taken last Friday (I’ve been working on editing them off and on all weekend) of my family flying kites at the park.
My husband took leave this weekend to do his quarterly review and planning. He went out to lunch on Friday and called me as we were finishing our lunch. He asked me to have the kits put shoes on and meet him at the park. The kids were so excited for a break to get outside and, honestly, so was I.
When we arrived at the park, my husband surprised the kids and I with kites he picked up at Target.
It was a perfect day and the perfect spot for flying them!
This time at the park flying kites with my children and my husband made an ordinary Friday extraordinary.
We are so enjoying the spring weather that has arrived here in El Paso.
Has spring started to show up where you live?
If so, I would encourage you to get outside and enjoy it with your family.
Find ways to break up the days and enjoy God’s creation. Find the beauty that resides in your everyday moments.
Praise God for the blessings He gifts to you each day and dwell on those throughout your day.
And I will seek to do the same.

Yes, spring has come to Denmark too. We are enjoying God’s creation. Bike rides, yard work, but working together and playing together as a family. Love spring time.
