I have been wanting to start posting my weekly menu plan here again. It’s always such a help (for me) to have it and the links readily accessible.
Yesterday I posted a picture to instagram of my shopping list with everything checked off as I finished my grocery shopping and a fried asked if I was still menu planning. I responded that I don’t know how NOT to menu plan. And that is so true! Planning our our weekly menus has become such a habit for me that I don’t know how to operate without doing that.
I am trying something new this week. I took many of the items from our menu plan for this week from a pre-made menu posted at Six Sisters Stuff. I love the recipes they post, so I thought I would give trying out their menus a shot. It took the hardest part (the actual planning) out of the equation for me.
I’m excited about our plan for this week…
Sunday – Slow Cooker Balsamic Pot Roast over rice
Monday – Chicken Parmesan Crescents & Ranch Roasted Potatoes
Tuesday – Cheeseburger Casserole & Healthy Broccoli Salad
Wednesday – leftovers
Thursday – Fiesta Pork Chops and Rice Bake
Friday – Slow Cooker 3 Cheese Broccoli Soup
Dessert for the week: Lemon Sheet Cake
Has menu planning become a habit for you?
It sure does make getting a good dinner on the table every night a whole lot easier!
