Last week was filled with ups and downs.
In all, I am learning to be thankful and to count the blessings.
We were in a car accident on Tuesday while I was taking my girls to dance class.
We were all unharmed and I am counting that as a huge blessing. God’s protection was with us.
Dealing with insurance has been a headache, but I am thankful that God has provided for our needs.
My mom came for a visit this weekend and my husband and I were able to get out for an unrushed night out. We had the best date together!! I am so very thankful for my husband and for his love for me.
This week I am counting…
522. library day
523. God’s protection during our car accident
524. a neighbor’s willingness to watch Will and Jenny
525. news of our next move
526. their wonder at such little things…finding a ladybug
527. chocolate doughnuts with sprinkles (and my apologies if you’re tired of my doughnut pictures and counting…I’m beginning to think I may be a little obsessed with these)
528. a clean home…even if only for a few minutes
529. a weekend visit from my mom
530. surprise thunder snow
531. a fun night out with my husband (I just noticed the lipstick on my teeth on the picture…ack!…good thing it wasn’t a first date! That would have been embarrassing 🙂 )
532. noticing that my little boy really is getting easier

I’m so glad that y’all weren’t hurt in the car accident! Do you know where your next move will be? Maybe back to SC??
Monica says
Yes, back to SC!!! And we’re super excited about it! We’ll be in Columbia, but will be visiting your area often. I hope we can finally meet in person!!!

So thankful God was watching over you with arms of protection! Definite gift there, despite the aggravation of working with insurance companies. Blessings friend!

So thankful you all came away from the accident unhurt. Hopefully, the insurance will all get worked out soon. It can be a pain, I know!

So many things to be thankful for …
And I love the donuts! They look like I could just take them out of the picture and eat them 🙂

I am so thankful that you all were safe in the accident. Were the girls scared? And I am also rejoicing with you over the news of your next move… provided I make it down to meet you IRL first. 🙂
