I had all intentions of sharing our proposal story with you today, but it’s a long one and I just fell asleep on my last post.
I’ve started working out regularly again, and by regularily, I mean that I’ve worked out the last two days. I’m thinking that is making me a little extra tired. Because I am way done!
I’ll make sure to post it tomorrow. It will be the perfect Valentine’s post.
I am looking forward to a great Valentine’s Day. It would be much better if my Valentine were actually here, but I have some fun plans. I want to make the day special for the children, especially for EA and MC. Keith has started the tradition of giving them Barbies on Valentine’s Day each year. I am excited about doing that for him. I also have strawberry french toast planned for breakfast and a strawberry smoothie and pizza for lunch. Then tomorrow night a babysitter is coming and I’m going out to a Valentine’s Dinner on post that is being sponsored by our spouse’s club.
It will be a fun day! And I’ll make sure to take lots of pictures to share.
What are your plans for Valentine’s Day this year?

You might laugh about this, but it is one of those cultural differences that we have encountered here in France. Valentine’s Day is ONLY for people who are romantically involved. It doesn’t get the hype that it does in the US. As a result, we both forgot about it! We have no special plans for today.
Some folks might disagree with my next statement, but we make an effort to show our love everyday, and both sort of have a problem with people needing a holiday or special day to say I love you. We’ve also have just come off of all 4 birthdays since the end of November and Christmas. We’re out of gift ideas! 🙂
